The well Jana is located next to a secondary school (see photo) and a home for the elderly in the centre of the village of Bombardopolis. The well serves the needs of these facilities and the general public. It is located at an altitude of 500 m. The landscape is rugged, covered with sparse vegetation including trees and palms, but largely dependent on irregular seasonal rainfall.

The borehole is 42 meters deep, the water reaches 38 meters. The well is fitted with a foot pump Vergnet.

The drilling mission, during which the well Jana was built, was financially supported by the St. Elizabeth College of Health and Social Work.
